The Book of Passages II is an artist book that contains two screen-printed works nested in a clamshell case. It needs to be held, unfolded, and interacted with. The screen-prints are based on pixelated screenshots taken from viral videos about stranded migrant boats off the Greek shores. As the reader/viewer holds and opens the book, the inside reveals a diptych inside. The work arrests passing moments of media coverages that inundates us.
